    HyperD TM is our custom developed line of lightweight diamond grid nylon. Designed for superior performance and feel, HyperD TM  is incredibly strong yet still very soft to the touch. 

    At 1.6 oz, this fabric fills the void between 1.9 oz and 1.1 oz weights when you're looking for something lighter while retaining maximum strength and durability.

    The premium choice fabric for projects such as hammocks, stuff sacks, synthetic quilt/comforter shells, breathable/lightweight garments, or lightweight bags. 

    NOTE- Colors with a reduced price of $4.40/yd are being phased out of inventory. Once sold out, they will not be restocked.

Twin hammocks

I recently ordered the 1.6oz HyperD to make matching hammocks for some friends. They're thrilled with the material, as are their kitties who are very curious about the hammocks.

Extremely soft and light!

I bought this as an experiment to make a pair of pants. This isn't exactly its indented use, but the HyperD did quite well and the pants are very comfy and light. I recommend using a walking foot to make stitching easier.

Thanks for your review, Mac! Walking feet definitely help when working with slippery fabrics. We're glad you got to experiment with the fabric and making pants. We've got some Polartec now that would make great pants/joggers.

Father/Daughter hammock

Love the 1.6 oz HyperD for a cat cut hammock that's a little beefier for both my dog and I to sleep in this winter. Hammock is more than strong enough and dog is more than warm enough.
