Here's my brand-new Hammock Set-up, with top quilt and bottomquilt!
The hammock is a simple 10.5' gathered end hammock suspended with whoopee slings. The underquilt is suspended with a clew suspension system, and the top quilt has a drawstring channel to form a footbox.
Required Materials:
Hammock: 4 yds 1.6 oz HyperD Topquilt: 2 yds 3.6 oz Chimashield, 4 yds 1.1 oz Polyester Ripstop. Drawstring channel made with waste from hammock Underquilt: 2 yds 5 oz Climashield, 4 yds 101 oz Polyester Ripstop (2 white, 2 green) Clew suspension made with 1/2" polypro, sew-in snaps, and 1/16" shock cord (about 25 ft per side, including the weaving), and sew-in snaps from JoAnne's. The snakeskin were courtesy of leftover scrubbies in the closet.
