Our 5.2 oz AIRWAVE™ 4-Way stretch ripstop nylon is a highly-technical and highly-comfortable material designed to help you go further in your apparel creations and wherever your journey takes you.
For years, makers have been using other fabrics in our AIRWAVE™ line to make projects because of the superb hand-feel. Our goal was to expound on the features that makers already love and include new features of a dedicated technical stretch apparel fabric.
This fabric is a go-to for performance garments because of features we've included. An active 4-way stretch allows this fabric to move with you. We wanted this fabric to feel as good as it performed so we included Air-Textured Yarn and a ripstop grid to increase texture, improve breathability and stability, all while maintaining a cotton-like hand feel.
A primary concern in many technical apparel fabrics is durability. To address this issue we used superior yarns and finishing techniques resulting in a fabric that can be trusted in tough conditions. This isn't your grandma's stretch woven.
