    The 2nd generation of our silicone double coated 1.1 oz polyester ripstop (silpoly). This fabric is coated with a silicone/PU layer on each side and is waterproof/non-breathable.

    In addition to excellent waterproof/windproof characteristics, Silpoly offers lower water absorption and increased UV resistance compared to Silnylon. Particularly useful in outdoor applications to minimize sag/stretch when wet and color fade over time. 

    Great for projects such as tarps, tents, ponchos, gear sacks, pack covers, or any application where durable waterproof/windproof fabric is needed.

    NOTE - Colors with a reduced price of $5.25 /yd are being phased out of inventory. Once sold out, they will not be restocked.

Silpoly

This was the first time pir having the 1.1oz Silpoly. I am using it for tarp material to resell. The colours are Bright and material is very similar to sew as Silnylon. More robust then Silnylon in feel and texture. I will continue to purchase Silpoly for more projects in the future.

Silpoly Tarp

I bought the 1.1oz silpoly to make a flat tarp, 9ft long by 8ft (head) and 5ft (foot). It turned out amazing and super light at only 8.3oz! This stuff is a bit of a pain to work with since it’s so slippery but lots of clips and taking your time really helps. RBTR is the best!

I love it!

I use Polysil to protect the insides of the dog beds I make and as a third layer in jackets to have comfy windbreakers. Lots of uses for it!

Silpoly fabric is the best

Lightweight, sews well, when seams treated with silicone sealer was absolutely waterproof.
