I found plans online and then cut fabric using a hot knife (Sailrite). I folded together flat felled seams (using glue sticks for temporary hold before sewing) to join the two roof pieces and attach both large triangle sides, as well as attaching the two small triangles to the awning panel. The awning and roof were attached, after both pieces had been hemmed on all the other sides, using a rolled hem. Eyelets were placed at each corner and nine were spaced evenly along the ridge line.
Tested well, only stretched by ropes at each end of the ridge in strong winds, heavy frost, and a night of heavy rain. Excellent performance! (even before sealing the seams)
