Used the plans for the Winter12 Tarp Template. I decided not to cat cut it so I could use trekking poles to hoist up one side as a "porch" during warmer/dry trips. The doors are so handy, coverage for bad weather, privacy for changing clothes, keeping a bit of warmth, etc. Made a matching double open stuff sack for storage.

Used the tarp template and fabrics, quantities listed in the corresponding kit, but didn't add all the D rings to save a bit of weight.

Required Materials:
1.1 oz Silpoly, 2 colors (main & accent)
(If I had to do it all over, I should have chosen the higher water resistance of the PU4000 fabric to combat MI summer storms).
Hyper D300 (again, after the fact, probably could have made the reinforcements out of the polysil instead of the heavier hyper D300)
Grossgrain for tabs
Micro paracord for guy lines
Triangle shaped Line Loc's on the guy lines
Shockcord
