    World-class textiles don't have to cost $20 /yd...

Our   420D ROBIC®  ripstop nylon was custom woven and produced by us with simplicity and design in mind - all at a price that won't leave you destitute.

SIMPLICITY - In true minimalist spirit, 420D ROBIC uses a basic square grid ripstop (no hex, diamonds, or thunderbolts...) combined with a super strong, high-tenacity ROBIC® nylon 6 base.

DESIGN - Matching fabrics of   different  weight/thickness can be next to impossible. Why? Because they all look different. That's why we've taken the extra step to make every fabric in our ROBIC® pack line the exact same, differing only in weight and thickness.

Lastly, our ROBIC® pack fabrics ( 100 D, 210D, and 420D) feature a proprietary backside coating called   UTS  (Ultra Tear Strength).

Unlike many traditional PU coatings, UTS is specially formulated to   increase tear strength while offering excellent hydrolysis performance (i.e. breakdown of coating in water).

*This fabric is  sold in 1/2 yd increments  to help reduce cost for smaller projects. Please enter a whole number of half yards in the box up top. For example, if you want 7 yds total, enter "14" in the half yard box.

Strong durable material

I use Robic 420D for reinforcement points and storage/carry bags to replace the cheap bags that often come with gear that rip or develop holes.

Hi Margy, that sounds like the perfect application for the 420. Thanks for the review!
210D/420D ROBIC Ripstop

This material is very nice to work with. Held up nicely to some stab/cut tests. The colors are very vibrant. It has a satisfying heft to it without being heavy. The 420D and 210D were basically the same in every aspect except weight and tear resistance. Both still seem pretty durable. It does hold a crease short term, but I think it will smooth itself out over time.

Just What I Was Looking For!

I needed a tough waterproof solution to reupholster the seat of the golf cart I use for off-road purposes. The Ripstop folks offered me the perfect material.

Very friendly. Very helpful people. Took care of me and got me my material in quick fashion.

Hi Cris, Thanks for the review! I'm thrilled we could help.

Very good fabric. thank you!

Too Many Colors Out of Stock and No Responses

The only color that was available was navy blue. I waited and asked about availability of the foliage color and checked periodically. I simply asked if RSBTR was planning to restock the foliage color of the material soon because if not (maybe they are planning to discontinue, etc.?), I was going to make other plans as I already had all the other major materials I needed for my project. I never got a direct answer, but I got plenty of emails about the owner touring around Asia and promotions of their new materials.

Out of frustration, I simply settled for the navy blue. Once I received it I realized the color was much darker than the one shown in the photo. Not a huge deal, but I hope for a better experience if I purchase from RSBTR again. I have purchased from them in the past without much issue, but after this I may be more hesitant to do so in the future.
