Pretty simple process... I cut out the panels to specs according to the size i wanted (around 50L). I pretty much guestimated most of my dimensions honestly. Sewed on the pockets and cord loops. Drew up some straps and and used a 2 inch webbing for back panel reinforcement. Double stitched all the panels together inside out. 1" rolled hem on the roll top with a side release buckle for closure, and another top strap with a side release buckle for closure. I will probably add a sternum strap. My goal was to make this as simple as possible, and it came out better than I expected. I would recommend giving it a shot, to anybody interested. Its about as simple as the pictures look, but very comfortable and very durable.
