X-Pac V21 RS

I'm part way through making a pack with this fabric. I like the ripstop finish; it's good to have a fresh fabric to make stuff with which I already have a fair idea of how it handles and it's capabilities. Holds its shape well and keeps the water out. Iay try hest sealing but haven't tried yet with V21 RS.
Excellent service, swiftly dealt with order and USPS do a great job. Always happy using the RBTR website, dealing with any queries, great products, great service.

Thanks for the review! X-Pac V21 RS is a really unique fabric to work with, it also prints with OutdoorINK amazingly. Let us know about the heat sealing when you test it. We appreciate you!

Relatively weak fabric in terms of abrasion resistant and discolaration

This Ripstop version of the Xpac seems to be something rare and as far as I know, only ripstopbytherolll carries it. I don’t like the famous diamond pattern in the original xpac and much prefer this more subtle grid pattern. Even when just sewing the fabric, i noticed the color on the grid pattern started to fade. That is with some minimal contact with the desk and some minor folding. I have since taken the fanny pack and belt pocket made out of this material out for a 7 day trip. The discoloration isn’t has bad as I originally imagined. However then seams on one of the belt pocket rip through the entire fabrics. There are several other places where the face fabric is almost gone and leave the laminated fabric itself exposed. All in all not as tough as I expected both in terms of discoloration and abrasion resistant. Will prorbably go back to some 3.4 oz dyneema for similar project
