Great product. Am using it to make some bags for my bike, and a tramping pack

If purchasing for the first time ask for a sample much bigger than what currently on the swatch card. I recently purchased a composite fabric that once unpacked was found to be considerably more heavy than I expected. Service first class but freight to Australia very expensive compared to other products purchased from the US.
Thanks for the review Tony! We are glad that the samples were helpful for you. Let us know if you have any questions about the fabrics, we're here to help!
I used this fabric for the bottom and back panels of my backpack.
Looks very sturdy!
It is easy to sew, and if you reinforce the inside with CF tape, you will have a durable pack.
I built an ultra-lightweight backpack with this and 2.92DCF.
It comfortably carried 25lbs on a two-day overnight hike!
Since the fabric is very hard, I feel that the tip of the sewing machine needle tends to become dull.
Be sure to change the needle frequently.
Thank you so much for your review Jiro! This 5.0 oz DCF makes an awesome, super tough pack! And thanks for the needle tip, it's always important to change your needles often!
