The same 210D Gridstop we've known and loved for years, now available with Dyneema.
This popular backpack material is made stronger and more abrasion resistant by a Dyneema UHMWPE fiber reinforcement grid on top of the base ripstop pattern.
The Dyneema grid also results in exceptional underline; tear and tensile strength compared to many 100% nylon or polyester fabrics without reinforcement.
This fabric is waterproof/non-breathable with a PU coating on the backside and Durable Water Repellent (DWR) front.
This style Gridstop fabric has been used for years by the best in the business and is commonly seen in high-end backpacks and other gear. It has a base weave of nylon 6 and Dyneema content equaling ~9% of the total fabric weight.
Typical uses include backpacks, pouches, reinforcement areas, or any application that will see a lot of wear and abrasion. Examples include such activities as climbing, long distance hiking, etc.
