For this project I mostly followed the Green Pepper Rugged Tote Pattern, but with minor modifications to the straps. I wanted a more modular system so I could use one strap or two, short or long.
1. Buy Rugged Tote Pattern 2. Follow instructions 3. When you get to the straps, I cut a length of 1" Nylon Webbing that reached from the outside strap marking, to the bottom of the inside pocket, with a little extra room for a D ring at the top. I threaded the D ring on, and lined them up and pinned them in place so that I would stitch through the outside strap and inside strap at the same time. Repeat for each strap.
