What is Dyneema® Composite Fabric?
High-Performance

Eco-Friendly

How does Dyneema® compare to other fabrics?
100% Waterproof
Dyneema® Composite Fabric is a laminate/composite material. This means that the UHMWPE fibers are sandwiched in between layers of film. This film is 100% waterproof and can be taped for repairs and seam sealing.
Harsh Conditions
Dyneema® resists UV light, moisture, and chemicals that degrade other materials. Its high abrasion resistance keeps it intact and functional, even after extended use in rugged environments.
Strength
Dyneema® outperforms nylon and polyester with a strength-to-weight ratio 15x better than steel. This exceptional strength withstands greater force and abrasion, ensuring long-lasting durability.
Weight
Despite its high strength, Dyneema® is much lighter than nylon and polyester. Perfect for outdoor gear, where reducing weight is crucial and every ounce counts.
