X-Pac V21 RS offers a great balance of durability and weight with a thicker 210D polyester ripstop face fabric for enhanced abrasion resistance compared to lighter variants like VX07.

V21 RS is a laminate fabric comprised of the following layers:

- 210D polyester ripstop face with C6 DWR

- 0.25 mil PET film

- 50D polyester taffeta backing

Highly durable fabric best used for lightweight yet super tough backpacks, bags, rain gear, pouches, packing pods, etc.

Purple Haze dyneema

Moving up from Hyper D300

Have been honing some packs over the last year, using HyperD300 to keep costs low. Finally got close to what I think is the perfect pack for me, decided to bump it up the VX21 for additional abrasion resistance and better structure. VX 21 delivered. Easy to sew, has enough texture that pieces tend to “stick” together when feeding through a machine and you’re not fighting slippage the whole way or clipping excessively. Fabric has absolutely no stretch, good water resistance properties, and has a fair amount of stiffness. A roll-top bag will stand upright relatively well when fully unrolled. My order was custom printed, and the prints came out awesome. Very clean, held detail well.

First time order of the V21 RS

Recently I was ordering some custom printed fabric and the VX15 was not available so I thought I would try the V21 RS. I can say although it does not have the "X" reinforcement which sometime looks really good I really like the feel and texture of the V21 RS. Image quality is very good! I will most likely order this fabric again in the future.
