My only complaint for the kit is the lack of options of fabric. I was easily able to take this kit, a few hours, and with basic sewing skills create a bridge hammock. Thanks!
As a full time hammocker for over 5 years at home, 30 odd hammocks in the house with 1000 plus nights outside too, this was the best night sleep I've ever had In a hammock. I didn't move for 10 hours straight. I wanted to try a bridge hammock, mostly because I find inflatable mats poor performers in hammocks.I wanted to to see if the took my Exped downmat well enough to use as a dual use ground/hammock system. Wow!
The fabric was cut perfectly, hardware very well finished, nice feel to the ripstop, great colour, sewed together very well, and has made a big impression. It's a simpler build than it looks too. I now can't wait to make another, likely an insulated version to save having to take an UQ on pure hammocking trips, and I'd like to try one with a pad pocket too.
Kit made this project very easy. Knocked it out in a night. Really dig the quality of the hardware (and it’s not Dutch!). Ripstop never dispoints. Always very happy with what I get.
Tried a $300 purchase. The goods came promptly to Australia at a reasonable transport price. RBTR can compete in the international market.
