I ordered the DIY bridge hammock and am very happy with my purchase. Parts came in a timely manor. Take your time and it will come out great. Very comfortable and packs down small.

This kit was great. I'm not very good at math so having the fabric pre-cut to shape made it a snap. Wasn't sure how I would feel about the fabric, but once I got it together and lay in it I was sold. Amazing kit, with everything you need and then some. Made making a bridge hammock a snap.
Thanks so much Kevin! We're glad you ended up liking the fabric for the Bridge Hammock Kit. We'd love to see photos of your finished project, here is a link to share photos if you'd like. https://forms.gle/9o4wvQP9nz6NxRqp6 Happy hanging!
I usually take a small gathered end hammock on hikes, but this DIY model Bridge Hammock is just as light and requires less tree span then larger "camping" bridges.
I gave it four, rather than five, stars because it uses a unique pin size on the spreader bar. Both WarBonnet's Ridge Runner (old and new models) and the CF pole upgrade by Ruta Locura have the same pin size But the poles supplied as an option with the DIY kit have pins that are a bit larger in diameter.
I understand that it isn't so fair to mark down the hammock because a option spreader pole is different than the most common, but finding "button protection" for the pole pins is a little more complicated. As it is, the hardware that comes with the kit just barely fits the larger pins on the matching/optional, spreader bars.

This was very easy to make and I loved it. I wish there were a few more options for fabric though. But that’s just me wanting to make more gear!

I definitely recommend just getting the precut bridge body. I would like to see the bugnet to go with it be put in a kit and also have the net precut.
