Our ultralight 15 denier ripstop polyester MEMBRANE 15 Like other fabrics in the MEMBRANE line, M15 RS combines breathability, wind/water resistance, and exceptional downproofing with the softest hand feel on the market.
To make MEMBRANE 15, we start with a custom woven, high thread-count polyester base material. Then we add a micro grid ripstop for improved abrasion and tear resistance.
Combined with a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating, the result is a durable, ultralight fabric with significantly less weight gain and improved comfort (i.e. no clammy feeling) when subjected to rain or highly humid conditions.
All this makes MEMBRANE 15 ripstop excel in a variety of applications including quilts, jackets, sleeping bags, garments, linings, and more.
