Car window screens

I made insect screens for my car windows as part of my car camper conversion. This screening worked great and was easy to sew with.

A necessary car camper DIY project! Enjoy!

0.9 oz Noseeum Mesh

Often I will sleep at the trailhead before a hike or backpacking trip. On warm nights, I want air flowing thru my car, but not flies and mosquitoes. So, I made car window screens with this mesh. Works perfectly and is easy to store in my car. Determine your pattern, cut the mesh, lay the mesh edges on tape, fold tape over to seal the edges. I used adhesive Velcro to mount mesh to door window frames.

Awesome! That is a great project to up the trailhead car camping game! We'd love to see photos of your bug screens you made, here is a link if you'd like to share any. https://forms.gle/qdCFTrzBX25ERP9k9
