X-Pac VX42 is the perfect high-tech, laminate fabric for use as a reinforcement material in high abrasion areas of your gear, or as the main material in a bombproof pack/bag.

It also heavily resists water absorption, so your gear stays lighter and drier in the worst conditions.

VX42 is a laminate fabric comprised of the following layers:

    -C6 DWR 420D Nylon face

-Black Polyester X-PLY at 22 degrees

    -0.25 mil PET film

-50D Poly Taffetabacking for abrasion resistance

    * Note: All X-Pac fabrics are sold in 1/2 yd increments to help reduce cost for smaller projects. Please enter a whole number of half yards in the box up top. For example, if you want 7 yds total, enter "14" in the half yard box.

Great!

I thought they had sent the wrong amount of fabric and I asked them about and they quickly responded and turns out I was wrong. Great customer service and great products at great prices. Will be buying more from them.

Hey Brad, thanks for leaving us a review. Let us know if you have any questions about future projects, we're always here to help!

X-Pac® VX42

Easy to work with and a good looking black color. Perfect for the frame bag I made for a friend.

Thanks for leaving a review Sylvie! A frame bag is a perfect use for this fabric. Share your project with us on Instagram we would love to see it!

Glue-only (mostly) dry bags

Nice material! I used it to make a set of dry bags for a float trip. I used seamseal as glue to make lap joints (first glued into a tube, lap joint; turned tube inside out and pinched/glued one end shut; then turned it back right way out and glued a strip over that seam to reinforce it with lap joints). Worked OK--glue didn't hold quite as good as I hoped, but the lap joints are solid. The hard face is maybe too slick to take the glue well. But lovely fabric!

Thanks for your review Nathan! We're glad to hear your project worked out. If you have any questions about creating with X-Pac feel free to reach out to our team, we're here to help!
