I wanted to make an extension to some straps on my weight vest for freediving, as they were non adjustable.
The only place on the internet I could find the original buckles was here and they fit perfectly.
And one handed emergency release works a treat.
And then the good price as well.
It's a buckle, that's for sure.

I bought several of these buckles for use with 3/4" webbing. The sizing was not a problem, but there are some issues inherent in the design. Since both parts of the buckle have to be aligned in the center to close together, one handed operation is very difficult compared to a standard side release buckle that guides the prongs in. Releasing the buckle under tension is very difficult requiring the user to use both hands to relieve tension in the buckle to open. This could be good for some uses, but not for a sternum strap. Shipping and service from RBTR was great as usual!
