So far I have made a zip pouch and designed my own ultralight wallet out of this heavy duty dyneema. I love the lightness, it’s easy to work with and super strong.
Thanks for leaving us a review! You can do so much with the 2.92 DCF, that wallet might last you a lifetime! Let us know if you have questions about future projects, we're here to help!
Made some Fanny packs with this heavyweight DCF. They're great! I I've been using them a lot
The Fanny Pack life is a great life! They will hold up phenomenally in the 2.92 DCF! We'd love to see photos of your creation, here is a link if you'd like to share! https://forms.gle/Veg5WY3ArRUr1A3x5
Only sewed up a couple of zipper bags with it, but have used other weights of Dyneema. Planning on a backpack soon. I saw another review saying, "they would use it all the time if they could afford it". I am in the same boat. All the Dyneema products are heck of a lot easier to sew than the Nylons and Polys, but uses multiple different techniques create your gear, do your research. Only recommendation, start small, and budget your finances. It's addicting.
That is a great tip for people who are wanting to start working with DCF! Thanks for sharing your experience, we appreciate you!
Very easy to work with
Thanks for taking the time to leave u a review Eran! 2.92 Dyneema is really nice to sew.
This is my preferred material for MYOG but of course it's some of the most expensive. All the benefits of DCF but with the added aesthetics and durability with a woven poly face. Black is my favorite. Grey seems too warm and white is semi-translucent.
Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review Devon! DCF is pricy but definitely worth it and will make your gear last longer because of how strong and abrasion resistant it is! Happy Making!
