  • Does the inside of your pack look like an episode from Hoarders? Mmm hmm... Shameful.

But don't fret. We're here to get you back on the path to organizational enlightenment with our Roll Top Dry Bag Kit - now available for the first time in OutdoorINK printed fabric with Dyneema® Composite.

Made from Dyneema, these durable, ultralight bags allow you to organize and neatly store things like clothes or anything else that would otherwise be loose in your backpack or travel bag.

The roll top closure allows you to compress the items inside for maximum space savings. We've even included seam tape to make your bag virtually waterproof when fully closed.

This DIY kit comes with everything you'll need to make one finished Roll Top Dry Bag (*except thread). We even laser cut your Dyneema fabric blank to exact size so you can open the box, trim, and start sewing right away.

    Here's what you'll get:

    Material (*choose size above)

Love it

The roll-top bag turned out great! I love the paisley design. The bag is is so lightweight and thin enough to be easy to fold and put away in my backpack when not in use.

Ripstop Rules!

I recently found this site and am SO happy I did. I’m taking an industrial sewing class. I purchased a few kits to try out and made them all in one day!
I will definitely be ordering more materials in the future.

You RULE! Thanks for leaving us a review. Let us know if you have any questions about future projects, we're always here to help!

Great project, a little sewing, some taping, and a nice product at the end

It's a good project for someone who hasn't made anything before, but wants a little challenge. The directions video is good. There's a little sewing, which is scary on expensive dyneema, but easily done. The hardest part about the taping is figuring out how to get the tape off the backing. Grrr. In the end, you understand how to put together a roll top drybag, and you get a drybag, with the print of your choosing, to boot!

Thank you for all your kind words Beth! Making your own gear is so satisfying and starting with a dry bag is a great place. The tape can be a little tricky, try cutting a piece at an angle and using some tweezer to pull off the backing. Don't pull the tape backing off all at once, but start with 1-2' and then guide the tape down the seam while pulling the backing off at the same time. I hope that helps!

Easy to make, versatile

I love these quick and easy DIY projects. These bags, I ordered two, were easy to make, and will come in very handy in my backpack and for other uses. My only suggestive comment would be the laser cut piece of material has a wide border around it (which is clear where there the rest has a pattern), and when I sew it, if I don’t use it, a very large seem allowance, you can see the border (like a stripe along the seam). I pretty much decided to cut the material to get rid of the border, but that proved to be difficult. Otherwise, love the project.

Hey Karen, thanks for leaving us a review! Sorry we didn't make that clear in the instructions, but you should cut the white border off prior to sewing the Roll Top Dry Bag Kit for the exact reason you mentioned. The Addiction Begins

So the folks at Ripstop know what they’re doing when they offer these cool kits for us to try. They know it leads to “more!!” I did mine in the “coloring book” pattern and love it.

Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review Marie! We are so glad that you love the way your Coloring Book OutdoorINK Roll Top Dry Bag turned out! You will never misplace that bag! Let us know if you have any questions about future projects, we're here to help. (and we also know how addicting making your own gear is!)
