This is a high-end, woven polyester fabric with Dyneema®.

Built specifically for applications that require maximum cut and abrasion resistance, along with super high tear/tensile strength.

Unlike Dyneema Composite Fabrics, this material is woven like a traditional textile, but with a melange (i.e. mixed) yarn blend containing 45% Dyneema and 55% polyester fiber.

Think soft, non-techy hand feel meets uber performance fabric.

Typical uses include bags, backpacks, reinforcement areas, etc.

Available in both PU1000/DWR and DWR only finishes (*varies by color).

* Note that this fabric is sold in 1/2 yd increments to help reduce cost for smaller projects. Please enter a whole number of half yards in the box up top. For example, if you want 7 yds total, enter "14" in the half yard box.

I probably can't add much to what's already been said and I agree with all of the rave reviews. I'm happy that RSBTR offers unique and innovative materials like this to us consumers. Not sure how else you'd get your hands on something like this unless you had it custom-woven and orders loads of it. Some thoughts: Love the heather pattern but wish solids were also available (I know this is challenging since the UHMWPE doesn't take dyes like polyester). Wish this also came in lighter denier weaves.This looks and feels like a 1000D Cordura (only lighter and more slick) so it's overkill for a lot of applications other than completely bombproof and highly abused packs. But all that said, zero complaints and love this stuff. I have ordered this multiple times and I'm planning to make a duffel/haul bag with the latest batch.

6.5 oz Melange Woven Poly/Dyneema fabric

We bought this fabric and made an Extreme Heavy Duty Poncho. Our ponchos can also be a hammock and a tarp. This fabric is super tough without being heavy. It is highly cut and tear resistant while also being soft like an old pair of jeans. Love it.

Great stuff!

This fabric is amazing. It's very lightweight but super tough. You really need kevlar scissors to cut it if you are cutting a lot. It is very cut and scuff resistant. I've only sewn up a small test piece but it sews well and is nice to work with.
