Felled Seam | Definition

Pronunciation:

fel-d seem

Definition:

A felled seam is a strong and lay flat seam. Done by sewing two stitches over the fabric. The first stitch is run with the two fabrics face-to-face. Then you flip the external fabric out as it will show when you’re done, and run another stitch over the same place. The two stitches will provide great strength while also laying nicely when finished.
