Fabric Memory | Definition

Pronunciation:

fab-rik  mem-o-ree

Definition:

Fabric memory is the ability the fabric has to retain its shape after being deformed. For example, a laminate like Challenge ECOPAK will resist laying flat after being tightly wound on a roll or folded. This can present issues when CNC cutting because the fabric will not lay completely flat on the cutting bed.
