Cut plywood star template. Hot cut multiple patterns. Sew hems, gussets and seams. Attach spar pockets. Cut bamboo spars. Decide order of kite colours on the train. Fabricate main line and tie special loops at 3 metre interval. Connect kites to main line. Cut and sew loop tails. Fly one kite to check if flies OK. Adjust spar lengths if required. DT Delta has been constructed using a plywood template with hot cutting to prevent cut edge fraying and uses straightforward sewing techniques with heavily gusseted spar pockets and stress points. Dragon kite is under construction and will be a 200 hour project.

1.1 wt Rip-stop Nylon. 8 colours, red, mid blue, sky blue, black, purple, yellow, orange, green, white. 1/4 sq, metre for each kite, 24 kites for total of 6 sq. metres.
