It was a windy day here in Yuma AZ. I decided to try to fly kite. It flew pretty well but needed a really good gust of wind. I thought if it was made from a lighter fabric maybe it would fly better. So I recreated the pattern and made it from leftover 1.0 oz/yd Dyneeema® Composite Fabric I had from another project. One issue I have is that it looks like I am flying an old circle K bag instead of a kite. I plan to use some different colors so it is more vibrant. I also plan to try different patterns and make a more interesting design. One positive thing is the small, lightweight pack size.
Cut out the pattern, sew on the air pockets and tail pieces, reinforce the corners for adding the bridle line, Add the bridle and line , wait for wind
