Here's the fanny pack/shuttle pack creation I came up with. It's mainly for me to use mountain biking when my backpack is just a bit too big, and basically anything else I don't need a pack for. It's big enough to fit 2 tubes and a compact bike tool. I don't own one, but it will also fit a small co2 tire inflator.
I started by cutting out paper templates to my liking for sizing (4.5"x9" with rounded corners) and cut the zipper to length. Then traced it on the fabric and cut it out. Next, I sewed it all together and added it to the webbing. Installed buckle and done!
