Bivy Bag

I recently finished building a trekking pole supported tarp/tent and bivy sack. For my first big project I'm really happy with how it turned out. I pulled inspiration from the kifaru super tarp and Mountainsmith Mountain Shelter. I like the designs of those companies shelters but wanted something with a side entry so I decided to DIY. I used Google Sketchup to model my design and get me the correct lengths and angles for each panel. The whole tarp & bivy setup trail ready comes in at 24 ounces and packs down just a touch larger than a Nalgene bottle.
