    Four years ago, we introduced  MEMBRANE 10 nylon taffeta  as our lightest, softeest, and most downproof fabric ever. 

    Since then, we've searched the globe for a  10 denier ripstop to match. A fabric that could offer the same  performance and buttery soft hand feel with  maximum durability. 

    And finally...  we got it. Introducing  MEMBRANE 10 ripstop nylon. At  0.75 oz/yd 2,  M10 RS sits in between typical 10D and 15D finished fabric weights, and with good reason...

    Instead of a "barely there" ripstop or compromising on downproofness, M10 RS uses a significantly  thicker ripstop grid and  super high thread count, tight weave construction. 

    The result is a more  durable ultralight fabric and exceptional downproofing (see IDFL results  HERE ). With a CFM (i.e. air permeability) of 4.4, it's also highly  wind resistant for its weight. 

    Lastly, as part of our larger green fabric initiative, M10 RS uses an ECO friendly,  C6 PFC free DWR (Durable Water Repellant). This gives the fabric water resistance without the  negative environmental effects of fluorocarbon based DWR formulations.     MEMBRANE 10 Ripstop Nylon us a premium choice, ultralight material for applications such as quilts, blankets, jackets, sleeping bags, garments, and linings. 

    NOTE  - colors for M10 RS are matched very closely to colors of the same name in    M10 taffeta.

I love all the different weights of membrane . I am new to sewing but find them all very easy to work with. As long as I take my time the results are great!

.75oz Membrane 10 Ripstop Nylon

Feels great, drapes well, eye-catching quality and tougher than I'd expected. Most recently I made a top quilt cover for use in a bridge hammock. It may only be a hemmed rectangle with bar and o-ring attachments, but it keeps the damp off on multi day trips, keeps the wind from stealing the heat away and is light enough to not compress the down, and for its weight it has noticeable strength to it.
I'll have no hesitation in using this for quilt shells, more underquilt protectors and I'll see where I can go from here with it. Another great fabric and the service is outstanding! Thanks for all your hard work.
