Meet the third generation of our industry-leading Venom™ Stretch Mesh. It’s rebuilt from the fiber up using years of feedback from makers like you. Venom Stretch Mesh ECO MAX brings the performance you need with the sustainability and design flexibility you've been waiting for.
Stretchier – The most requested change is here. We expanded the UHMWPE grid from a 2 mm box to a 5 mm box. This opened up the weave and delivers around 15% more stretch, especially on the bias. That means smoother pack access, easier stuffing, and better fit across dynamic applications, all without giving up durability. ECO MAX still outperforms nearly all non-UHMWPE meshes in abrasion testing. It's one of the most rugged stretch mesh options available today.
Lighter – Stretch mesh can get heavy, especially when spandex content increases. We took a different approach. By optimizing the fiber layout and grid pattern, ECO MAX comes in at just 4.75 oz/yd². That’s about 8% lighter than the previous version. You’ll see less bulk, better drape, and more freedom in your design.
Recycled – Venom ECO MAX is built on a 100% recycled nylon base and finished with a PFC-free C0 DWR. It raises the bar for sustainability in technical materials. This is part of our ongoing mission to create high-performance fabrics that are lighter on the planet and heavier on utility.
