If you've made non-apparel items then you're likely familiar with the Schmetz Microtex Sharp needles. These are great needles for a lot of packs, bags, and projects with heavier fabrics. However, when it comes to apparel fabrics, a sharp needle is not ideal.
Here's Why...
The round tip of a ball point needle allows the head to pass around the fibers resulting in a cleaner stitch. The finely sharpened point of a regular needle penetrates the fiber and could result in skipped stitches or fabric damage.
Included Needle Sizes: Two 70/10, Two 80/12, and One 90/14.
