Top quilt that probably is good down to 15* given the 3.5" final loft. Total weight came in about 24oz including elastic straps to attach quilt to sleeping pad.
Used a U-shaped pattern so I only had to weigh and fill 5 baffles. The vertical baffles are nice so the down doesn't shift at night to the sides.
Simple cinch chord at both ends, plus a 24" zipper, plus pad attachment straps ensure a good seal from drafts
Used a pound of 825 fill down (from another source) and got 3 1/2" of loft at the peaks! Baffles ended up being about 1 3/4" tall after sewing them.
Required Materials:
Used the membrane 10 fabric, 2.5" no see um pre cut baffles, gutterman 70 thread, 90/14 needle, and ykk #5 separating zipper. Pad attachment straps made with 3/4" elastic, and low profile center push buckles.
