    2) Discount codes are not allowed for any wholesale purchase. If you use a discount code, the portion applied to any wholesale line item will be added back to the shipping invoice we send you.

*NOTE - This is a full roll of 0.5 oz NS50 Noseeum Mesh (125 yards). Looking for smaller amounts? Click HERE for sales by the yard.

At a finished weight of 0.5 oz/yd 2, NS50 is 25% lighter than our 0.67 oz and 45% lighter than our 0.9 oz Noseeum. Developed and produced custom by RBTR, is the lightest noseeum mesh on the market today.

Note that this is the 2nd generation of NS50 ultralight noseeum mesh. Same weight, but significantly stiffer and less stretchy than previous generations. This makes the fabric easier to sew, snag-resistant, and more durable.

Noseeum is a lightweight yet durable micro-mesh netting used to provide superior insect protection in the outdoors. Constructed with a tight, irregular knit pattern, noseeum shields you from even the smallest of pests. Great for use in ultralight bugnets, quilt baffles, and test/shelter screens.

Quilt Materials

I am making my wife a light weight quilt for Christmas. She can't stand pressure on her feet at night but needs to stay warm. I am using nylon taffeta outer material and 0.5 oz NS50 Noseeum Mesh as a web to make a V-tube construction with 900 fill power down for insulation. The materials I bought from Ripstop ByThe Roll are working great. I have not found any flaws in the fabrics. I am happy I can design a camping item, and in this case a home use item, and then find the fabrics I need at Ripstop. Without you, I could not achieve my dreams.

Wow! Thank you for such a kind review, Jerry! The quilt you made your wife sounds awesome, and great choice in materials! Be sure to send us photos or tag us on social media, we'd love to see!

0.5 vs. 0.9 Noseeum Mesh

Made same size Hammock Bug netting of both 0.5 and 0.9 Noseeum Mesh of which the numbers already tell the obvious. Stuffed down it really shows on photos. It is half the size and for a bug net which I barley use, size matters which also reflects on the weight.
Yes, 0.5 oz bit funnier (time consuming and patience needed) to sew but worth it, especially that 0.5 oz finished hammock bug netting doesnt exist on the market.

Hey Marcus! Thanks for the great review. This is a great comparison between 0.5 Noseeum Mesh and 0.9 oz Noseeum mesh and definitely highlights the differences between the two. Let us know if we can help with anything in the future, we would be glad to assist.

Bug bivy with silpoly bathtub

Excellent material. All but impossible to sew to itself without a backing material. Grosgrain worked well for this purpose. Finished weight w/o lines 6.6 oz

We would love to see photos of your bivy! Be sure to tag us on social media or send us photos here https://forms.gle/8JZW2SXiTwD3jUdb6
