About our sewing machines

In all our Youtube videos and posts, we use a Highlead model GC-0518-A-D single-stitch, needle feed sewing machine.

Keep in mind that you do not need a fancy industrial machine for most any DIY project. There are some nice features like auto thread cutting and start/stop tacking with these machines, but those are "nice to haves" and not "must haves". 

For more delicate work or anything other than a straight stitch, we also use both Singer and Janome home sewing machines.
