Warp

Definition:

The warp of a material refers to the vertical or lengthwise direction of a fabric. Specifically noted in woven fabrics where the yarn is used in both an up and down and a side-to-side direction. Warp is the opposite of Weft.

Example: 

There is a reflective strip woven into the warp of the 7.1 oz MTN Reflector Stretch Mesh Nylon 6.6.
