      1. Role Overview


      The Social Media and Content Manager will own the creation, execution, and performance of our organic content engine, transforming our products, expertise, and customer stories into consistent, high-quality content that drives awareness, engagement, and revenue growth.


      Content has been a persistent bottleneck across key growth channels including paid ads, organic social, product education, and emerging media formats. This gap is limiting our ability to scale demand, support product launches, and fully leverage the strength of our brand and customer base.


      This role exists to remove that bottleneck by bringing dedicated ownership to content production and distribution. The ideal candidate is both technically skilled and creatively driven—capable of producing high-quality photo and video assets while translating complex, technical topics into clear, engaging, and socially native content. They are a maker at heart, a strong communicator, and someone who motivated by community.


      2. Core Responsibilities


      Content Management: 

      • High-converting ad content

      • Product Photos

      • In-house Photography 

      • Short Form Video Production 

      • Social Video Production  

      • Storing and cataloging content 


      Social Media Management: 

      • In charge of: 

        • Facebook, Instagram, Youtube,  Reddit and Google Business 

      • Managing content schedule 

      • Publish content to latest standards for maximum engagement 

      • Manage comments and interactions 

      • Keeping RBTR relevant by being active on key accounts

      • Manage the inbox of all associated platforms 


      3. Key Performance Indicators


      The following list is demonstrating the KPI's you may have. Part of the onboarding process is defining which KPI's make sense and which ones you would like to choose.


      KPIs:  

      • Follower Count 

      • Channel Consistency 

      • Engagement Rate 

      • Follower Growth 

      • Audience Retention 

      • Site visits from social 

      • Contribution to campaign performance


      4. Scope of Ownership


      This role owns:

      • Organic social channels

      • Social community engagement

      • Content calendar and publishing

      • Organic content production 


      This role collaborates with:

      • Marketing Director for Emails, Ads, Strategies, Campaigns, and Day-to-Day tasks 

      • Senior Product Manager for product launches and technical education

      • CEO for high-level strategy and messaging support


      5. Required Skills & Experience


      • Ability to create high-quality photography and video content

      • On-camera presence

      • Strong storytelling and communication skills

      • Skilled maker and DIYer with sewing experience

      • Passionate, tenacious, and driven


      6. Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have)


      • Experience talking about a technical subject 

      • Familiarity with Canva, Shopify, Riverside, 

      • Experience with influencer or UGC programs


      7. Tools & Resources

        • Instagram, Facebook, Reddit, Youtube 

      • Analytics tools

        • Google Analytics, Polar, Shopify,

      • Content tools/equipment

      8. Compensation


      Salary:

      • $55,000 - $65,000 (Based on qualifications and experience)
