Nylon 6.6

Definition:

Nylon 6.6 is a stronger version of a nylon fiber. The additional strength is incurred by the number of polymer chains found in the chemical structure. This type of polymer are also known as a polyamide often found in a specific type of yarn. 

 

Example: 

We carry many fabrics that contain a Nylon 6.6 yarn including 1.1 oz MTN Silnylon 6.6.
