Weft

The weft of a material refers to the horizontal or widthwise direction of a fabric.  Specifically noted in woven fabrics where the yarn is used in both an up and down and  a side-to-side direction. Weft is the opposite direction of Warp. 

Example: 

There is an HDPE reinforcement in the weft of 210D HDPE Gridstop.
