Lizard Log Quilt. I had been itching to make a quilt using some of the fabulous fabrics with OutdoorINK. I chose to use Dragonscales in Emerald green to make my 20° quilt. I used 500g of 850fp white goose down to make a quilt with 5in loft with 2.5in baffles. Total weight came to 25oz on my scales. It looks like a lounging Lizard with a person in the quilt! I also made a matching quilt storage bag with thanks from a kit from RSBTR. Very pleased with how it all turned out, it looks great with the Dragon Scales in Membrane 15. Thanks RSBTR
Cut fabric to size sew noseuum to make baffles so the final height is 2.5in. I decided to make 11 vertical baffles with the centre baffle half length. Sew up the sides of the quilt. cut the footbox to size and put in a centre baffle. Then sewed the inside and outside of the footbox to the main fabric. sew in the top cord and attach cord lock. stuff the quilt with the down, I used a tube to push the down into the channels. sew up the top seam and shake out the down. Sew the matching Quilt Storage Bag.
