For some time, I've been interested in building a lightweight backpack with the size and options specific to how I organize my gear and the type of backpacking I enjoy. Most mass-market packs didn't have the options I needed- or were too expensive. My goal was to build an internal frame pack of around 2 pounds that can comfortably carry my base weight (11ish pounds) and eight days of food, etc.
Design/build each panel Sew it together inside out Finish trimming all interior seams Start a list of adjustments/improvements for your next pack build...lol
Required Materials:
Robic 100 and 210- I think I used a yard of each- with some leftover. I really like this fabric- It doesn't seam as durable as the xpac material I've used on other packs but is a material I'll use again on future projects.
