This project was made to replace the Stone Glacier Minimalist "Load Cell" with a more customized and improved version. This was made to compliment the Stone Glacier Krux Evo frame without being a full backpack, but also not a simple roll top bag.Â
General process for this project after measuring the backpack frame for fitment:
1. Construct a typical roll top bag out of the ripstop of your choice. 2. Reinforce with webbing where StoneGlacier frame straps across and a lid can attach. 3. Loop webbing for buckles and outriggers to attach to. 4. Sew pocket panel to load cell within webbing reinforced area. 5. Place new load cell onto the frame meat shelf and strap down.
Required Materials:
3yd of 1.2 oz MTN XL Hybrid Ripstop Nylon, ~6yd of 1" webbing, and (3) 9" zippers.Â
