I needed a handlebar bag that was in between the Revelate Pronghorn's medium and large bags. It needed to be large enough to fit my sleep system and spare layers for a bikepacking trip in the Ozarks. The outer needed to be durable enough for rocks and abrasion, and waterproofness was ideal for the rain. I made it semi-rectangular and ovalized to keep it closer to the handlebars, with the weight moreso over the wheel.
Sewed the inner liner out of 1.0oz clear Dyneema and seam taped
Sewed the outer portion out of Gridstop
Attached two bags at the bottom, and then flipped wrong side to wrong side
Sewed together at the opening
Added a layers of 3/4" thin grosgrain around perimeter to hide joinery
Sewed 3/4" poly webbing with buckles to outer
Slid layer of thin 3/4" cut HDPE sheet behind webbing before sewing closed for rigidity
