Footprint for NeoAir mattress. This was my first project to ease myself into the world of specialty fabrics. At less than 3 ounces, this footprint was a great investment to protect the mattress that lets me sleep comfortably in the back country.
I cut my fabric to 8' length, then cut a diagonal to make two mattress footprints. Sewed a rolled hem along the edges, then tacked a 5" loop of grosgrain at each corner for a tie down. I added two additional tie downs 10" from the bottom, so I can roll up the footprint to prevent the mattress from sliding on a gentle slope.
