I recently decided that I wanted to make my own gear, specifically a tent. I found it encouraging seeing others complete projects with little to no experience. I decided to purchase the DIY kit and receive one free sewing lesson from grandma. I primarily started off practicing different types of seams and eventually making several stuff sacks. It's nice to work with the actual material I intend on using later. Next, I'll purchase the materials for the tent and hopefully post another to the projects page.
Thread the machine with the Mara 70(not provided) and started sewing.
