We ordered 10 yards of the extra wide 72” HEX70-XL-PU3000-VB in Vader blue. We cut off 1 yard to make a bag to store the awning in when not in use. The balance we cut into two strips. One strip is 3 feet longer than the other to support how the curve of the trailer needed it. These two panels were sewn together
After creating a template of the curve, we layer out the curve, we cut the curve. The scraps from the cutoff became the corner support materials for the tie downs. Last step was to sew on the Keder strip, and then test the entire awning on the trailer. Wow it worked and looks great.
