Customer Project: 25l frameless pack

• MATERIALS

• This is my first attempt to make a backpack.  It is a 25l main body with a mesh front pocket and two side pockets for water bottles with a mesh bottom for drainage.  Also has 23” long s shoulder straps.
• First i made the shoulder straps using 1/4” spacer mesh
  2.2oz hex70 nylon
  And 1/4” closed cell foam
  Sewed then inside out and inserted foam while turning them right side out
  
  Then cut the side front and back out of 2.92oz dyneema
  Back panel 11”x36” 
  Front panel 9”x36”
  Both side taper from 6” on top to 5” on the bottom
  
  Then cut the bottom for the pack at 11” one side 9” other side and 5” wide
  
  Made the water bottle pockets using 2.92 dyneema and 3.40z pocket mesh
  
  Sewed the pockets to each side then sewed the mesh pocket to the front panel
  
  Made shoulder strap reinforcement out of 2.92 dyneema sewed the shoulder straps to the top half of the reinforcement.  Sewed center of reinforcement 24” from bottom of pack folded it up and finished sewing it to the pack.
  
  Added loops to side panels using  3/8” grosgrain for tensioners also added 2 1” webbing at bottom for hip belt attachment 
  
  Then sewed all panels together inside out.  Seam taped all seams.  And turned right side out

• Required Materials:

  Less than 1 yard of blue 2.92oz dyneema
  
  Less than 1/2 yard of black 2.92oz dyneema
  
  Less than 1/2 yard of 1/4” spacer mesh
  
  Less than 1/2 yard of 3.4oz pack mesh
  
  3/8” grosgrain
  1/2” grosgrain
  1” webbing
  Lash-it cordage
  1/8” shock cord
  3/4” webbing
  
  2 Line loc
  1- 1/2” adjustable buckles
  2- 3/4” dragon lock
