With so many stretch fabrics on the market today, why spend time reading about this one? I mean after all, at close to $40 per yard, what's the point?

As it turns out, the problem with "normal" is that it's defined by the past. We can accept the past as all there is, or consider that the future may reveal something radically better...

MTN Reflector Stretch Mesh Nylon 6.6 was constructed to be one of those things.

Custom knit with a super-strong nylon 6.6 base yarn and laced with a silver reflective tracer throughout, this fabric:

1)Lasts longer with maximum abrasion resistance and durability

2) Offers a new, integrated option for adding high-visibility reflective trim

For the first-time, you'll be able to make things like reflective stretch pockets, external reinforcement areas, and anything else you would normally use non-reflective, standard nylon/polyester stretch mesh for.

Should you ever need it, the reflective tracer will "light up" and shine right back at you when hit by any light source (*see pics on this page for a demo)

This is particularly useful when trying to find your gear at night or if you'd just prefer to be seen by others (e.g. biking, backpacking, etc).

Note that this is a 2-way stretch mesh in the warp (lengthwise/running) direction. There is NO STRETCH in the width due to the non-elastic nature of the reflective tracers.

*Note that this fabric is sold in 1/2 yd increments to help reduce cost for smaller projects. Please enter a whole number of half yards in the box up top. For example, if you want 7 yds total, enter "14" in the half yard box.
