  • The Fish Hook by Warbonnet Outdoors is a multi-function piece of titanium hardware designed for use in hammock suspensions. 

    Specifically, the Fish Hook can be used in the following ways:

    1. Hitched to a continuous loop on the hammock for direct connection to your whoopie sling suspension
    2. Hitched to your suspension and hooked to the continuous loop on your hammock
    3. As a clip at the tree for ultralight webbing (like our Venom UHMWPE)

    The design also features a hole that's sized to accept a spreader bar for tandem hammock setups. Here's a video of the Fish Hook in action:

    Made out of  grade 5 Titanium and weighing just 3 grams, the Fish Hook is a lighter, stronger, and quicker way to hang your hammock.

These things are great. I use them with the 1.5 inch spider web straps from Dutchware. I put one fishhook on the loop end to ease attachment to a tree and put another on my armsteel continuous loop that is attached to my gathered end. I then tie a marlin spike hitch and use the hook on the end of the hammock in lue of the spike/toggle. No slipping, easy to adjust, and extremely lightweight setup that is able to accommodate any size tree even at close proximity. Two 15' straps with one hook attached each weighs only 57grams/2 oz for both straps.

Very good!

It is combined with ultra-light webbing.
It's also attached to the end loops of the hammock with four straps.
It's perfect for use.
You can see how to install the hitch in this video from Warbonnet Outdoors.
I would buy it again if I didn't have to worry about shipping costs to Japan.
