• With a few successful sewing projects done ($10 DIY Kit), I ordered a Pack Cover kit in your 1.1 MTN Silnylon 6.6 XL fabric (same material I will be using for the tarp and tipi builds). Using Mara 70 thread, I was able to quickly put together a great pack cover, and even have some material left over for a stuff sack for the tarp or tipi when those are completed. This thing packs down to nothing! 
• It was a very simple project. I laid out my fully loaded pack, measured the length and width (per included instructions). I laid out the dimensions on the ample supply of fabric and cut it out. Sewing was a simple 1/2" double hemmed on each 2" folded corner and another 1/2" double hem down the sides (hems need to be large enough when complete to accommodate the drawcord)
