If you're purchasing one of our Bag Buff patterns, you can spend hours printing and taping a gazillion tiny papers together OR take a shortcut with our template plus digital pattern bundles.

Along with access to the digital pattern, this bundle includes a full-size, printed template that makes the layout and cut portion of your DIY build easy and enjoyable.

Simply cut out the pieces, place the templates on your material, trace, and cut. No headache, no guesswork, no "oops."

Each template is printed by us in high-resolution black/white on durable, heavyweight paper stock for multiple uses over time.

Templates are shipped bagged and folded into approximately the size of a sheet of notebook paper (8.5" x 11").

I just finished building a prototype (cheap materials) of this pack before I make the real thing and it turned out great. This is a great design and the community that Stephen Jones of Bag Buff created on Facebook is a great resource for answering questions related to materials and the build itself. I highly recommend this pattern as a way to cut your teeth on pack making.

Ironed the pattern flat on low heat, cut out the template, signed up to Bag Buff for additional input. Bingo! I actually made a backpack! Very pleased.
